What is a Style Guide? 

A brand style guide is like your brand's rulebook. It's a document that outlines all the design elements, color palettes, typography, and guidelines for using your brand assets consistently. 

With a style guide, you ensure that your brand maintains a cohesive and professional look across all platforms, from your website to social media and beyond. 

HOW THE LOGO DESIGN PROCESS WORKS

Initial Meeting & Discovery

I'll ask questions about your vision and goals and determine you target audience, where your brand will appear, how you want people to feel when they interact with your brand. It's important we set a clear direction and ideal outcome at this stage.

Research and Concept Development

After researching your industry, audience and competitors, I'll develop a first round of concepts. In some cases these may be in black and white only, to ensure we are comparing only fonts, icons and styles. Adding colour comparisons at the next phase.

Feedback and Iteration

I'll ask for specific feedback on the concepts. Which fonts, icons, styles do you like and why? Which ones do you not like? After receiving your feedback, I'll provide another round of concepts. We'll then explore colour and layout options.

Finalisation and Delivery

Once the logo is finalised, I'll prepare various formats suitable for both print and digital use, including a vector file. Delivery and Ownership: The finalized logo files will be delivered to the client, usually in a compressed folder or via a file-sharing platform. The client will have full ownership and rights to use the logo as their brand identity.
